What happens after the 14-day trial?
You'll be prompted to enter a license key to continue. Your library, settings, and watch history are preserved — nothing is lost. Enter your key and pick up right where you left off.
Is my data sent to the cloud?
No. Your media, library, tags, and watch history stay on your Mac. The app only reaches the internet for license validation, update checks, and — if you enable it — optional movie/TV metadata.
Does subtitle generation require internet?
No. Subtitles are generated on-device using a Whisper model you download once (39 MB to 2.9 GB depending on accuracy). Your audio is never uploaded.
What macOS versions are supported?
macOS 13 (Ventura) and later.
Can I use Apphara Player on multiple Macs?
Yes — one license activates on up to two Macs. On a reinstall or a new machine, use "Restore License" to move your activation.
What video formats are supported?
